BSEC Petition
In June 2020, the Black Scientists & Engineers of Caltech (BSEC) held a town hall to present a list of action items that Caltech could take to make it a more diverse & inclusive environment. These action items are carefully laid out in this petition, which was signed by over 1,000 Caltech affiliates. Caltech’s administration responded in July 2020, committing to execute many of those actions. C4BL aims to keep Caltech accountable for those commitments, to support efforts towards carrying out the remaining actions on this petition, and to continue supporting BSEC in all of their endeavors.
